Single Carrier Medium Range L1000 Series

The Accelleran Single Carrier Medium Range (10W) L1000 Series is the result of a very disruptive approach to the delivery of cost-effective, carrier and mission-critical grade TDD and FDD Small Cell networks through a focus on software quality and partnerships with leading RF frontend designer. It was designed in response to the customers’s need to have good coverage yet with  smallest form factor, lightest weight and lowest power consumption in the market to have lowest TCO in a 10W product.

Our Single CarrierMedium Range L1000 product range is applicable to deployments where coverage is the main driving requirement, such as in rural and suburban deployments. It can be used with omnidirectional antennas thanks to the efficient 10W RF frontend, but can also be used with high gain directional panel antennas to achieve an even higher EIRP.

The following is a summary of the different types of deployments targeted by our Single Carrier Medium Range L1000 Series.

In terms of supported frequencies, our Single Carrier Medium Range L1000 product range supports the most deployed TDD and FDD bands, with a particular focus on the specific range dedicated to the new 3.5GHz worldwide mobile capacity in B42 (3400-3600 MHz), B43 (3600-3800MHz) and the B48 CBRS/OnGo variant (3550-3700 MHz). Typical PPDR bands such as B14, B28, B68,.. are also supported.

LTE TDD B42

This is our L1000 variant for 3400-3600 MHz spectrum, which is currently the most widely deployed spectrum in 3.5GHz. B42 has been traditionally licensed and used for Fixed Wireless Access deployments. However, after the EU CEPT decision to define TDD band plan as “preferred” in B42 and the endorsement by the ITU WRC’15, this band is becoming a de facto worldwide mobile capacity band. The strengthening of the ecosystem around B42 and advent of smartphone form factors supporting it will enable mobile access use cases to MNOs who were traditionally targeting FWA deployments.

LTE TDD B43

This is our L1000 variant for 3600-3800 MHz spectrum, also part of the generic 3.5GHz. B43 has been traditionally licensed and used for Fixed Wireless Access deployments. However, after the EU CEPT decision to define TDD band plan as “mandatory” in B43 this band is becoming a de facto mobile capacity band. The strengthening of the ecosystem around B43 and advent of smartphone form factors supporting it will enable mobile access use cases to MNOs who were traditionally targeting FWA deployments.

LTE TDD B48 CBRS/OnGo

This is our L1000 variant for the CBRS/OnGo 3550-3700 MHz spectrum, which is defined by the FCC in the US with an innovative regulatory framework based on spectrum sharing. CBRS/OnGo enables Fixed Wireless Access, Neutral Host/Private LTE and Macrocell network offloading use cases.  Our L1000 is enabled with SAS capabilities and is interoperable with different SAS Administrators solutions.

LTE TDD B38

This is our L1000 variant for 2570-2620 MHz spectrum. This spectrum is allocated in Europe to provide mobile service in the LTE TDD centre gap of the traditional B7 LTE FDD.

LTE TDD B40

This is our L1000 variant for 2300-2400 MHz spectrum. This spectrum will be allocated in some regions such as Europe with as a Licensed Shared Access regulatory framework.

LTE TDD B41

This is our L1000 variant for 2496-2690 MHz spectrum. This spectrum is allocated in some regions (US, Asia,…) to provide mobile service.

LTE FDD B7

This is our L1000 variant for paired 2500-2570 MHz and 2620-2690 MHz spectrum. This is the most usual spectrum that has been licensed in Europe for LTE.

LTE FDD B3

This is our L1000 variant for paired 1710-1785 MHz and 1805-1880 MHz spectrum. This is the traditional GSM and UMTS 1800 MHz spectrum which in many cases is being re-farmed to LTE.

LTE FDD B14

This is our L1000 variant for paired 788-798 MHz and 758-768 MHz spectrum. This is the spectrum used for US FirstNet (Public Safety).

LTE FDD B28

This is our L1000 variant for paired 703-748 MHz and 758-803 MHz spectrum. This is the spectrum used for FDD allocation in 700 MHz APAC (700 MHz APT).

LTE FDD B68

This is our L1000 variant for paired 698-728 MHz and 753-783 MHz spectrum.

Other FDD band variants

Thanks to our flexible approach to the development of Small Cells we can also consider the support, on request, of other usual LTE FDD bands such as B1, B5,..
