Accelleran’s flexible OAM and SON architecture and its focus on LTE TDD and the 3.5GHz mobile capacity band, together with a focus on next generation multi-carrier platforms, has enabled the development of the new E401 Local Area CBRS product for the US market. Accelleran is currently trialling CBRS in its Single Cell E101 platform in the US and the new E401 will be available for mass trial deployment during 2017. The E401 CBRS variant, like its current Single Cell E101 commercial siblings in B42 and B43, has carrier-grade robustness and is a cost-optimised platform. Utilising the FCC’s innovative spectrum sharing access regulatory framework, the E401 will support the business models necessary for the mass deployment of Small Cells by incumbent operators and new entrants alike. The E401 will support the aggregation of a total of up to 80 MHz of channel bandwidth from PAL and GAA allocations.
Accelleran has been a GTI (Global TD-LTE Interest Group) partner member and 3.5GHz Interest Group member since its foundation. Last year Accelleran also joined the CBRS Alliance to promote the use of its US CBRS solutions.
