Accelleran on LTE Opencellular is the result of Accelleran’s very disruptive approach to the delivery of cost-effective, carrier and mission-critical grade TDD and FDD Small Cell networks through a focus on software quality and partnerships, combined with TIP OpenCellular disruptive approach in the delivery of lowest TCO small cell HW platforms.
Accelleran Enterprise offering is a pre-integrated carrier grade L3 control plane software with functional LTE enhancements and higher layer expansions on OAM, SON and SAS components. Accelleran additionally provides standard and advanced support SLAs, evolutive maintenance and integration, custom development, testing and end to end solution delivery of your OpenCellular based small cell network projects.
The current Accelleran on LTE OpenCellular product is a Single Carrier Medium Range (1W) available initially in B3 (1.8GHz), with other OpenCellular bands such as B5 and B28 to come. It was designed in response to the basic customers’s need that drove TIP OpenCellular.
Accelleran on LTE OpenCellular product range is applicable to deployments where coverage is the main driving requirement, such as in rural and suburban deployments. It can be used with omnidirectional antennas or with high gain directional panel antennas to achieve an even higher EIRP.
The following is a summary of the different types of deployments targeted by Accelleran on LTE OpenCellular.
In terms of supported frequencies, the first LTE OpenCellular product supports FDD B3 (1.8GHz) with B5 and B28 coming soon.
This is the OpenCellular variant for paired 1710-1785 MHz and 1805-1880 MHz spectrum. This is the traditional GSM and UMTS 1800 MHz spectrum which in many cases is being re-farmed to LTE.
This is the OpenCellular variant for paired 824-849 MHz and 869-894 MHz spectrum. This was the traditional GSM spectrum which in many cases is being re-farmed to LTE.
This is the OpenCellular variant for paired 703-748 MHz and 758-803 MHz spectrum. This is the spectrum used for FDD allocation in 700 MHz APAC (700 MHz APT).
